The Road That Im Travelling In...
... and some milestones that I have crossed thus far
ACE MONTESSORI
ACE Montessori @ HSR Layout Bengaluru was my 1st formal school where I completed M1 and M2 programs during 2014-15 and 2015-16. Learning by doing things was truly interesting and exciting.

ACE Montessori brought out many of my talents... my first public speaking (on topics like The King of Fruits - Mango and Betty Cooper from Archie's), my first stage performances (singing and dancing) and my first medal in sports!
RAVINDRA BHARATHI GLOBAL SCHOOL
I clearly remember my first meeting in April 2016 with Principal Parvathi Menon of RBGS - HSR Layout who was pretty impressed with my incessant chattering and offered me an admission directly into the UKG program (saving an year for me and thousands of Rupees for my dad :-)).

Teachers like Raji ma'am, Indhu ma'am, and Padmavathi ma'am, between 2016-17 and 2019-20, helped my knowledge, skills and abilities grow multi-fold here. They encouraged me to participate in various focused activities like cultural and social events, and school's annual sports events.

My first participation and scores of certificates in knowledge based competitions like Talents Tests and Olympiads (Spelling Bee, SOF, IMO, NCO, ASSET, NTSE, etc) happened here. I also received my white belt and green belt for TaeKwanDo.

CHINAMAYA MISSION BAL VIHAR
Hari Om! Chinmaya Mission's Bal Vihar is one of the best things that has happened to me, courtesy my neighbor Bindu Aunty.

Under the guidance of sevika Neeta Shenoy, at Bal Vihar HSR Layout, my roots to our culture, values and traditions got stronger. During 2018, 2019 and 2020, here I got to learn and understand more about Ramayana and Mahabharatha, chant hymns, and sing bhajans.

My first stage performance in singing bhajans and my first public story telling (where I was ranked one among the 10 winners from a large city like Bengaluru) happened here.
ORCHIDS - THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
For the academic year 2020-21 and onwards, Orchids - The International School at Nagarbhavi will be the medium of my travel through the middle school years.

Thanks to the Corona pandemic, I'm yet to wear the school's uniform and attend classes on-the-campus. I'm eager to swing my school bag and walk to the school, attend the classes, learn to act in the theater room, play an instrument or two in the music room, sway in dance floor, and swim in the pool within the campus.

I'm pretty impressed with the school and the teachers already with whom I have been interacting through the online sessions. The teachers teach using plenty of videos and conduct online-quiz in the end of the session. Every weekday morning I eagerly look forward to the classes.

In this short period of time, I have learnt to make good use of technology (school's ERP, section's WHATSAPP group, collect data through internet search, etc). The daily online Bind and Wind session helps me in expressing my thoughts and learn new skills. And, more importantly, this blog is the result of various blogs I wrote for the school.
