Friends I love to read Stories especially when it comes Balavihar stories! One of my favorite stories is from the book “Tell me a story 1”. This story is about a story in an Ashram which had 4 students. Swami Sivoham was the one who used to teach the students. The students ended up in a little quarrel. So, the Mahatma a.k.a Swami Sivoham thought of teaching them in their own technique. The guru called every student and said tomorrow there will be a feast for everyone. And the next day when they were about to eat the first bite of their yummy food! Their guru called out saying wait " Don't start yet". He got few pieces of wood and tied them to the student's hand and told "now you will begin!"
They were so confused and they were looking at each other in dismay. How could they eat when their hands stiffened by wood when they were seeing each other in dismay! The swami said that why not feed the one sitting next to you? In embarrassment, they fed each other and after that, they fell at their guru's feet! And from that, I learnt the importance of helping others
