Before we dive deep, firstly, the short bio of the movie:
Rating: PG (as the movie has some Action/Peril)
Genre: Animation, Comedy, Adventure, Kids & Family, Fantasy
Runtime: 1h 45m
Production & Distribution; Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Pictures
Magic! Who doesn’t get mesmerized by it? Add some 1st class animation, adventure and fantasy. Who wouldn’t love it?
On one side there are 2 teenage elf brothers. And on the other side is the legendary manticore (Tavern) who the mother teams up with to bring her beloved boys back home.
The movie gets engrossing as the journey is filled with dreadful difficulties, mystifying maps, and surprising sightings.
The movie starts on Ian’s 18th birthday. His mom gave him something his dad wanted to give Ian on his 18th birthday. When he opened it, he found a staff and a riddle.
As he was reading the riddle, he did whatever the riddle said. But halfway through he dropped the stick so only half of the body came. In the meantime, Barley’s game comes into picture and it turns out that the game is real.
They had a difficult task. On the way to the place, Barley helps Ian learn magic. The movie is gripping because whenever the father appears, an obstacle also appears. And in the end, the sad part came. Tears overwhelmed me but what Ian said was true!
I learnt from the movie that if you don’t know something and if someone is willing to teach you, learn it.
Summary: A neat, clean and enjoyable movie for the whole family.
My score: 9.5/10
