Don’t we all love watching our toon heroes in action? Why do we adore toon action heroes like Owlette, Catboy, Gekko and PJ Robot (PJ Masks), Singham, Chikky, Kavya and Karate (Little Singham), Bheem, Chukki, Raju, and Kalia (Chotta Bheem) and other such popular action heroes?
Friends, I guess, it’s their interest to fight the bad and the power they possess to fight the villain attracts us! It’s the combination of their bravery and the tools they use to they defeat the enemy, makes us watch the shows day after day. (and even in the nights, despite our parent’s screaming 😉)
In PJ Masks Owlette’s power to see things far away in the night through her Owl Eyes, Catboy’s power to jump high across buildings, Gekko’s power to use lizard like grip to get attached to things, Little Singam’s roar – “Aata Majhi Satakli” and Chotta Bheem’s fighting style makes us want to possess such power.
As the toon series continues and the characters grow, we can see them gain new powers. For example, in Season – 2 of PJ Masks Owlette gets Super Owl Feather with which she blocks the escape routes of the villains, Catboy get Super Cat Stripes to swing over buildings and Gekko gets Super Gekko Shields to protect himself from things hurled at him by the villains.
Each of the hero also has a source from where the hero gets the powers. In season 2 of PJ Masks – Owlette, Catboy and Gekko get their super power from the crystal inside the HQ and in Chotta Bheem, Bheem gets his power when he consumes laddoos. The power they get from their sources makes them invincible and gives them the courage to go after the villain and defeat them.
I do daydream about gaining some super power and fighting the evil alogwith PJ Masks. My recent fantasy is equipping people with a shield and protecting themselves from COVID-19.
