Winning 2nd Place For My Mother!

Hey Little Voices! As Mother's Day was recently celebrated, I wanted to thank my mom in a different way this year. A competition that I came across called "Rhyme UR Thoughts" from Wizkids Carnival helped me to do the same! I had to write and narrate an original poem. Here is the poem - "In Every Hug Of My Mother" and the video:

In every hug, her warmth I find,

A guiding light, both strong and kind.

Through ups and downs, she's always there,

Her love, a constant, beyond compare.

With laughter shared and tears she dries,

In her embrace, my fears die.

Her wisdom whispers through life's noise,

Guiding me with her steady voice.

From childhood days to now, she's been

My rock, my comfort, my closest kin.

In every moment, big or small,

Her love surrounds and lifts me tall.

So, here's to you, dear mother dear,

In every hug, your love is clear.

Your love has always been free,

In my heart, you'll forever be.

Through every storm, she stands tall,

Guiding me, never letting me fall.

For all she is and all she's done,

In her love, I've found the sun.

Here’s to you, wishing you a Happy Mother’s Day

Life turns to shamble when you’re away.

Why is it only one day for Mother’s Day?

You deserve the whole month of May!

I successfully submitted the above. I had to wait for a few weeks before the result was announced but it was definitely worth it. I won second place!
