Haven’t we all read that a healthy body means a healthy mind and don’t we all want to keep ourselves hale and healthy? From my dad, I understood that we accumulate extra damaging fat if we don’t burn it by performing vigorous activities like walking, jogging, dancing, etc. However, the pandemic had in fact tied me indoors and I was feeling quite lazy.
In August, when the theme at our school Orchids – The International School was motivation and excitement, our P.E. Teacher sent an excel worksheet named Calorie Burner Tracker (CBT). Suma Ma’am explained in-depth about the 32 different exercises in the sheet and how it counts the calorie burnt if done for 5 or 10 minutes. She had also recommended steps and duration.
The CBT, to my good luck, contained exercises that I could easily perform within my home, pick up from varied activities and exercises, and also calculate how long I had to work out as to burn around 500 calories (my target). Thanks to Suma Ma'am now, I regularly track how many calories I burn, record the result and use the same as a journal to achieve my fitness goals.
I am eager to learn how you track how many calories you burn and therefore request you to message me through the comments below.
