Everyone loves superheroes and thanks to the Queen’s Wealth Competition I got to write my own job description for my super-hero – Freudan. (Details in blog attached at bottom of this page).
In Jun 2022, we heard about the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition through our school's Principal Mrs. Latha Karri. The essay was titled – "Superhero – Job Description”.
I was so excited to see this topic as it gave me a good chance to put all my thoughts together. For over a year now, I have been thinking about my superhero and his roles. Thereafter, I have also been thinking about what skills and qualities he would have to perform his duties. I was excited to give some life to my dream character. I read through some newspaper adverts to understand what a job description is. Then I developed the essay and submitted it by end of June 2022.
My character is inspired by the father of psychology – Sigmund Freud. When people bully us, our self-esteem shatters into pieces. My super-hero Freudan is the one who would help little children cope with angel-like devils living amongst us in the form of classmates, teachers, friends, and relatives (including parents and siblings). My hero would make sure children aren’t feeling left out, or affected by past trauma, low self-esteem, etc. To make sure my super-hero can deal with all these, my hero needs to have a few qualifications which I have mentioned in
